Learning Tribe Bilingual Elementary School for Kindergarten 1 & 2.
Learning Tribe Bilingual Elementary School for Kindergarten 1 & Kindergarten 2 supports children transition from Preschool into mainstream schooling.
Our Kindergarten and its curriculum are officially recognised by the Kanton Schwyz and we support our children transition into Grade 1 either through to a public school or a private/bilingual school route.
Our Kindergarten is characterized by our bilingual education program following the Swiss curriculum (Lehrplan 21) and the Learning Tribe International Curriculum.
Our Learning Program
The daily teaching languages in our Kindergarten are German and English. Children learn the 2 languages in a playful, creative and natural atmosphere. The children are exposed to the core subjects of Language & Literacy, Development and Mathematics, as well as all foundation subjects listed below:
1. Theme (Knowledge and Understanding of the World)
2. Sports and Gymnastics (Physical Development)
3. Creative Development (Expressive Art and Design)
4. Emotional Care (Personal and Social Development)
All lessons are held by our qualified and well-trained teachers, who hold a great depth of pedagogical skills and experience.
Opening Hours
While our Kindergarten follows the mandatory school holidays, we offer year around care and education. Our opening hours for both the Daycare and Kindergarten are from 07:30 to 18:30. During school holidays we offer a special designed holiday program.
Kindergarten officially begins at 08:15 and finishes at 15:30.
- Our Sunrise club is open from 07:30 to 08:15
- Our Sunset club is open from 15:30 to 18:30

Physical Education
We plan a balanced, age appropriate and fun program for Sports and Gymnastics at the external sports hall once a week. Our weekly program also includes a morning visit to the forest. We also organise various projects and excursions where our children get real-life experiences outside of the classroom.
